Technical detail: QR3 Headrest System
Firm positioning of the cranium is essential for patient safety and the outcome of the surgical approach, especially when using microscopes or navigation. The QR3 ensures stability, strength, flexibility and safety via skull pins or non-invasive pads, backed by a comprehensive array of adaptors to fit your operating table and procedure.
Technical detail: LUCENT Skull Clamp and imaging
The LUCENT Skull Clamp suits neurosurgical procedures involving intraoperative Angiography, CT or X-Ray. Rounded contours and the absence of straight surfaces give superior imaging results, while a smooth ratcheting system and play-free open and lock mechanism support precise adjustment without changing hand position. Dedicated paediatric pin holders are available. Combined with DORO LUCENT Skull Pins, nearly all imaging artefacts can be eliminated.

Both QR3 and LUCENT systems take a range of disposable and reusable skull pins plus non-invasive pads, dependent upon your needs, with adaptors to fit your operating table and procedure requirements.
